after moving some files to lib or lib64 can't remember from miui stock rom I got calls working but the top speaker didn't work but the phone could make calls just fine, try to test it with the new bootimg @end222

I can't really remember ,so i want to try on my own so you don't waste any time on it even if it proves to be not worthy, i would like you to do me a favor and post the updated version of lineage os 13 with the new bootimg so I can try different stuff (without taking any credit if I fix something, which is unlikely ) I would be grateful if you could do that for me.

Whenever I have time I will. I can't do it right now because I have many boot.imgs in my phone and I do not really know which one is it. A lot of them work but they were made with different purposes to try to get the phone charging when it is off.
So I will make a new boot img with only the drivers well loaded so you can try with it

also auto rotation didn't work and headphones.When you post the new boot img i will try to fix the calls ,audio and camera.I asked you to post it because I've never experimented with bootimgs and kernels ,Only one time i helped a friend of mine fix sone bugs with a cm13 port,only system files like lib,bin,lib64 etc so I maybe can do something. Its not the right thread, but I was unable to unpack the system.new.dat from lineage os 14 any idea how i could do it?

The main problem is that whenever I modify the dat it stops booting so the dat isn't modifyed, just resized so that it fits the system partition of the Redmi Pro. If you take a look at about phone it still says that it is a RN4 because even by changing the build.prop I get a bootloop.

I will probably upload only the boot.img and then move it to the ROM so I do not have to upload 600MB.

Also I do not use facebook at all ^^

New boot.img with some fixes when loading drivers (bugs stay the same, just to make it easier to fix existent bugs):

Flash with TWRP using the flash img function or replace in the ROM zip

@end222 thanks I will try my best ,if I fix anything i will upload the rom and send you link so you can check it out.I had a tool to unpack system.new.dat lol otherwise i wouldn't be able to copy files froms stock miui rom, but it didn't work with lineage os 14 also kinda strange that it bootloops,isn't it?

Yes, it is really strange. Maybe we should try to convert the ROM to the old type of ROMs so that it would be easier to modify

yeah we should do that,this method isn't going to get better in matter of bugs mainly.

With the new bootimg the drivers for the camera are ok, and flash worked so its fine, the only problem is that the camera doesn't focus

hmm this is strange :/ flash and camera is working but on flash is working one led and not the cool and warm light only cool led, i noticed the front camera button isn't detected by and app

Is anyone still working with this ROM, I don't mind android M as long as it's stock android, can't live with miui any longer
