Hello this is my first "PORT". I just use this tutorial port any rom to your device to port this GingerDX v29 for LG optimus One. So this is NOT a source build rom.

Install Instructions:

1) Download the ROM:
GingerDX ATRIX
Mirror1
Mirror2 (googledrive to download this go to FILE>DOWNLOAD)
Mirror3
2) Copy the ZIP file to your SD card
3) Reboot to CWM
4) wipe dalvik cache,wipe cache [clean installation will be great]
5) Install GingerDX ATRIX zip
6) Install Gapps:
Gapps
Mirror1
Mirror2 (googledrive to download this go to FILE>DOWNLOAD)
Mirror3
7) Reboot
8) Re-Root using last version of SUPER ONE CLICK
9) Use ICE10 theme.

Optional (but recomended) for a settings and phone with JB look:

10) Download the JBiu.zip:

11) Copy the ZIP file to your SD card
12) Reboot to CWM
13) Install JBui zip
14) Install bootanimation (by ravilov):

15) Reboot

Optional: I remove some system apps...If you need it flash this:

16) Flash the Addons zip:

- Bugs:

+Some grafics on lockscreen (rotationary, sense3 style) because the base rom is from a smaller phone.
+Torch Toggle cant be set. (because the original p500 rom dont have the option, p500 dont have flash).
+Tell me more...I cant test it to much.

Photon Based Rom

Well I try to port the photon GingerDX and the result is great...fixs all the bugs in LG p500 GingerDX based rom...

Thaks goes to:

WiredAnim for dev the photon GingerDX

The only problem for this rom is that the original photon dev cant update the rom (locked bootloader....thanks MOTO) so I will keep this post for photon based rom and the other for P500 based rom.

(I have plans to learn how to build from source...so...maybe we can have a fully atrix rom...someday :D)

The installation prosses its the same but you dont need to RE ROOT the phone :D

Here is the rom: (I forget to change the name in build prop...so its may says CM7...:D)

Yeah! Thats why I port it...its a good rom, and I think...if this works great on smaller phone like x8, p500...in atrix will fly!

I need to fix some grafic bugs but I have no time rigth now...and I cant set my pc to use the apktool...I dont know why...

I came to atrix from p500 and used the rom on p500 before.
Nice work. I'm really sorry not to use the rom as daily, since I love aokp on jb.

re root?

This rom causes loss of root? What's the deal with that?my computer is down so no super one click for me and don't want to lose root.can I just replace superuser to system apps and su file to bin?pretty sure that was a fix for epinters cm 10 when he first put it out and had an old superuser issue but I could be jumbled.anyways I th.ink its worked for me before

I realy dont know...maybe that fix it...I cant test rigth now...but can you tell me where to find the SU files in bin? maybe I can make a test tonigth...

Tell me the files to replace and the folder...

I did that...but the problems is there...I think its not the png...I cant de/compile now...maybe you can point me in the rigth direcction...I dont know how to set my pc...I did it some time ago...but now I cant...:(

Lexord tell me how you did it....I always loose the root...but I think its a matter of superuser app...I need make more test.

I have this file " SuperSU-root_fix-v1.zip" for life of me can't remember which rom I downloaded it for but basically just flashes su to bin and super user app to system to get root because I'm guessing once u root on a deeper level u have root just sometimes lose those files.you can open any rom zip and extract super user app from system and paste to system of this rom and extract file called su From bin and paste to bin of this rom.I have no time right now but should work.plus people are saying they didn't lose root so who knows
