I prefer downclock&less active cores while low-load.

My device didn't boot
Flashed on CM 13, maybe thats the problem

stock rooted MALMIDI, didn't boot too...

Try with patch auto boot after flash that kernel.
Maybe can boot.

Patch Auto boot from the TWRP -> Advanced -> Patch Auto Boot

In twrp menu go to advanced and chose patch outoboot.
Use twrp materialized from miui forum. That including patch outoboot in twrp.

I totally know that, as I was the main dev of the huawei y550 for a few months
I was just a bit confused, because for me it looked like all the devs are working just on the 32gb version

I want to run normal GNU/Linux OS on Xiaomi Redmi 3S.
So I am porting Linux kernel base on QAEP kernel and Redmi3 drivers.

My porting kernel version is 3.18.20.
