Whats your google camera configuration?This is just to help who ever are reluctant in installing google camera. These are some shots which i took from Christmas Village. The differences are day and night. samsung camera loses the colors and details but google camera has increased colors and details in low light distant shots.Zooming in will give us better idea about the quality of pic.

Hi..
The latest google cam mod 5 and the modded arsticker app is giving me ar sticker work.. its pretty cool.
Im on S8+ Exynos.
But i have to clear cache for cam and sticker-app every time I want to run it.
Second time I run it it will fc.
Any one knowing a quick fix for that issue?

I found pretty similar results as you, with the washed out brighter colors in the Samsung camera, but the drawback is that the Google camera puts a green-cast on everything that is not relatively bright. You can see that in the fence that is in the left part of you photo, and to a lesser extent but still obvious in the ditch slope on the right hand part of you photo.This is just to help who ever are reluctant in installing google camera. It only does that in dimly lit scenes. For daylight, there is no green cast and the Google camera wins hands-down. I wish there was a way to get rid of this green-cast in the darker parts of the photos for night or poorly lit indoor scenes.

i was using a BSG camera version with no settings from this thread.

I use Arnovas gcam mod, here are my settings.. average picture size is 9mb! Much more detail captured, you just need to know how to use the correct software to bring out those details. The average size on stock camera is 4mb.

Doesn't work on exynos..... Never has don't believe ever will.
What's the latest version thats working on S7exynos? And the optimal settings? Currently running 0.18 and works fine although front camera doesnt work... Thanks

Look for the latest Version with a 1.3 in the name. Some other versions may work aswell but you will have to try them out.
Im using "MGC_5.1.016_7.0+C2API_v.1.3d_AllinOne" on my S8 exynos.
Can you add 4K video support for the S8+ @Arnova8G2 ? I love your camera app it's awesome and i want to remove the stock camera app from my phone completely but 4K video capture is what is holding me back so I would really appreciate this feature. Thanks for all your hard work! [emoji4][emoji4]
Also, you definitely should consider creating a beta testing telegram group, I can beta test for the S8+ and help with development for that device and @mweinbach can also help [emoji4]

This app uses the settings of your rom, on my device the 4K works perfectly.
If you can specify all the settings and resolution of your device
the display is 2960x1440, it is 4k by default. It has a 12.2 MP camera and supports 3840x2160p 4K

My device 4K is 3840x2160p, therefore the resolution 2960x1440 must be null for 3840x2160 to be supported
