Great from, using it with shot of awesomeness and a blackendui theme that was originally for icecoldsandwich but works fine on this, I havent looked deep into things but be noticed the navigation bar doesn't work

Yeah I will try downloading it again. I flashed the kernel through recovery, would it be better if I tried pushing it through adb? I'm not very comfortable with adb so I try other methods before doing that.
awesome, will download and check it out. so flashing a kernel is fixing wifi? Have you tried switching out the wifi module bcm4329.ko with one from the custom kernel zips? This is what I had to do on the gingerbread collective port to get wifi working.

since colectives rom uses wlan0 for wifi it is searching for eth0
in 7.1 aokp uses wlan0 as wifi interface
so start from there

It should work if you just flash the everything properly. If redownloading doesn't help, PM me so I can try and help you further. Let's try and get this booting on your phone as well
Yeah, that's probably it. I looked right at it yesterday before releasing and thought "eh, my base and port use the same kernel" so I assumed that that wasn't the problem. I made another test build and tried replacing bcm4329.ko and it booted with wifi. I didn't look too much into it for bugs and stuff, though, as I had to do a restore to make a phone call.
Alright my fellow Blink-head, will give it another shot with the new base and see what comes up. I'll probably just end up uploading the same rom with the wifi fix later today and upload any bigger updates from The Collective as they come.the rom is searching for the wrong wifi intarface name

I redownloaded and booted up like a charm and this is one smooth gunner! Thank you for all the help. Also I think mms isn't working for me though. I tried sending a screenshot of my lockscreen since this rom makes it so easy to customize I had to show it off It however doesn't let me send the image through text.

Odd... I sent myself a mms and it worked. In addition, I sent an mms to a friend of mine to see if it REALLY worked and it seemed to have sent fine.I redownloaded and booted up like a charm and this is one smooth gunner! Yeah I guess my data on campus was intermittent today. It ended up sending after my lab. Oh and I tried using the Tapatalk 2.0 app on this rom but it wouldn't connect to any forums. I googled it and it seems that the beta is over now and they won't connect anymore, just an fyi. I haven't bought the Tapatalk app or anything yet.
Great rom, very few errors showing up on logcat. Was having constant spam on the other ics roms.

Well if the beta is over and the app isn't functioning, I guess it'd be easier on you guys if I were to just remove it. I'll upload another version in a sec with the beta removed and working wifi from install.

EDIT: A couple games of Gears later and the rom is done being uploaded.
