also im from greece and the international patch fro data for the 5.0 version did not work. Is there any patch for the phoenix rom or does the phoenix rom not need one?
I honestly don't think so....as to this ROM was ported for this VZW S5......you may do a search throughout this thread and see if any users post anything and read what they post....

Once unlocked, i flashed the PD1 DEODEXED ROM but they've updated the OP with the latest OS with the PJ1 DEODEXED ROM here....https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862688467
So flash this in TWRP and then flash this PhoenixROM v12 and you should be good to go
Basically, as long as you're on any version of MM, you can install this ROM
I did exactly what you wrote and i got this error:
Failed to map file '/(file location)/'
Error installing zip file '/(file location)'/

what should i do?

That's what you get from TWRP?
Try from scratch in the Unlock section....using the MM method....that or you had a bad download of the files.....did you check the MD5?

ill try from the beggining again;
start from jrkruse's post for rooting all the way to updating the bootloaders with all new downloaded files..

Kinda feel like an idiot now, but I'm unlocked, rooted, and running this rom:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-galaxy-s5/general/how-to-update-to-g900voe1-5-0-keeproot-t3149784
So in order to install any phoenix rom, I have to go from PF4 back to PB1 then up to PD1 and stay on PD1 (at least according to the phone baseband screen shot above) ?
Got an answer in another thread, I actually went directly (just flashing the rom) from this:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-galaxy-s5/general/how-to-update-to-g900voe1-5-0-keeproot-t3149784
directly to the PJ2 version:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-galaxy-s5/development/rd-unlocking-galaxys-s5-bootloader-t3337909
directly to phoenix 12.0, to phoenix 12.6 to phoenix 15...
The only slightly troubling thing may be that the baseband says PF4 and the build ends in PK1...

No sign of a PK1 modem so I went with a PJ2...

Fingerprint will not work due to the build used in this ROM. If you want fingerprint, you'll have to step down to V11.....

method that worked for me

OK, for anyone coming into this now, here's what worked for me:
1. my CID started with 15 so makw sure of that..

2. follow this thread here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-galaxy-s5/general/root-method-og5-ok3-t3290370/
that means flash pb1 rom and then follow the batch file root method by jrkruse.

3. instead of flashing this VZW_BPB1_ODEX_DEODEX_V8.zip (in the end of jrkruse's rooting method) flash this VZW_BPB1_ODEX_DEODEX_V9.zip, this is how the next method youre going to follow starts:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ve...t/rd-unlocking-galaxys-s5-bootloader-t3337909

4. there, youll follow the method 2 of unlocking bootloaders, and then before flashing this: SafeStrap_PD1_Bootloader_Unlock_AIO.zip in safestrap youll wanna flash the TWRP.zip file that is mentioned later in that thread.(dunno why tho)

5. after you unlock the bootloaders with method 2 you want to flash this: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862688467 and then proceed to update the bootloaders following the instructions in the same thread.

6. after you have updated the bootloaders ( flashing this in the end of course: SafeStrap_PJ2_Bootloader_Unlock_AIO.zip )
follow the last instructions (power off, in twrp data and system wipe) and proceed to flash the Phoenix ROM v12!!! (and then the update if you want)
.
.
.
TIP: copy all of the files that will be flashed (before starting) in TWRP or Safestrap before starting so you dont have to do it throughout the process..

Hope I helped!! :D

Well my phone got stolen today... so i would had appreciated if it was possible before that. oh the irony!
Damn, you've got to be kidding me.....?!?!....if you've signed into Google account then you may be able to track it down via your number and whatnot....sorry for hearing that but most Custom ROM's, the Dev will take that feature out....unless you are running a deodexed stock ROM.....again, sorry to hear of your unfortunate loss of the device....KARMA is a B!*#H....to those who do wrong.....
How in the world did it get stolen within 9-10 hours of your previous post....?

i know... its just ridiculous!! i got in a public car and it got either pocket picked or fell from my pocket, just image 6 people in the worst condition possible car you can image, "totally 3rd world problem". I realized 10 min after, i was almost getting in a bus to my city, I called and called, but it was turn off. I tried do the location thing with google and Samsung account with no success. I just called the carrier to disable the chip and move on. Very unfortunate, i was planing to stick 1 more year with it, specially after finally unlocking the boot-loader.

I guess ill just move on. And be more careful now on. Actually is the first time i lost a phone. The good thing is that the day before i backed up all my phone media, so it was empty. i didn't lost all this year photos!

Again, sorry that your device was lost or stolen. But glad that you were able to save all of your personal files prior....as mentioned, KARMA is a [email protected]#*H and hopefully one day karma will get that thief back....if you get another VZW S5, don't hesitate to ask for help.....sorry for the loss but I guess we need to get back on topic.....

Any Guide to Install Phoenix Rom on a G900V?

I want to install this rom "PhoeniX.ROM.V12.VZW.Marshmallow.G900V-V2.zip"
on my phone, I read a lot of pages and I never can´t make it work 7 times so far, then my phone doesn´t boot up and I have to start from scratch.

Now I´m running Cyanogenmode 13. I really want to put Phoenix Rom on my device.
Actually my phone is rooted and with the bootloader unlocked.

Is there or have anyone a guide or steps to install it?

Thanks
