I'm sorry but I don't understand what you just said. The files are bricked? What does that mean.. All the apks in my original ROM were working fine. Apart from the pinyin input method which was in a beta ROM on my server which no one should really be trawling as it's a private server.

I ment when my friend dastin were porting it. After that music and phone and clock stopped working. I will try to use their port from start again

And about time too. If you read through all the pages you'll find only crap. Only talk and no actual development or progress. Would the moderator please close this thread. The development section is cluttered as it is.or JieeHD could you please help out in porting this to our p500 friends. Am sure there are many of us who could test it. And we would be very grateful.

The GSM and that's it, dialer is verry slow, no sound, no wi-fi, no bluethoot..and so on, hope it will be fixed.

So SWEATTAIMI? (LOLWUT?), I noticed you haven't been updating this ROM recently. You know with bug fixes, updated translations, speed improvements etc etc. Now if you actually knew how to build ROMs, how to fix things are broken and know how to make full use of Google, then updating this ROM should be a piece of cake!
I mean let's be honest.. none of the things needing fixing in this ROM are difficult to fix, for example fixing the missing translations should take at most an hour, decompile the apk and edit a couple .xml files using Google translate. Could it be that you have no idea;
A) How to do what I just said above and then push it back into a ROM?

Or could it be

B) You have no clue what you're doing and are lucky that kind people like me allow you to just add a boot.img to my ROM and post it as your own?

Btw, you don't need to answer that it was rhetorical, it's both.

Ive been thinkin about saying all this stuff for a long time, but didnt wanna hurt his feelings cuz he can get a little suicidal... He has started porting of several roms and has not finished none of them! I suppose hes gonna stop working on this one too in a short while..

hope he won't stop working, although even if this rom is finished , it will take a whoooleee lot of time to really fix it...if it's possible.
sweattaimi - when do you think this ROM will be al least 80% functional ?
- or will it ever be functional ?

i'm sure that it will stop. all the room progress was made by other users and devs. i don't want to be bad or cruel, but let's face it, if you want respect from us, you must come with something good and functional, not hundreds of rooms unfinished. I suggest to not start another topic with another room till you are making a real progress. when i'm watching the dev section i only see 3-4 good working rooms, the rest are from u and some other things like kernels, etc. please make this dev section clean, we don't need unfunctional, untested things. when i'm reading the samsung's s and s 2 dev forum my eyes are shining, a lot's of rooms and usefull things, i always wished to be here the same. But that's it...this made me to think of buying a new phone, allthough i was very excited for this phone. all my respects for andy, mik_os, franciscofranco and ciox, who alltough is only 13, he is a real developer.

ontopic : personally i wish that someday it will be finished, because is a great ideea to bring the iPhone interface to the android, but sadly it's hard to believe.
