That might be cuz of a corrupted package format these partitions:
/System
/Data
Internal Storage
/Preload
Dalvik Cache

Then go to backup and backup your /EFS partition to an SD CARD (Important)

Then Download the Gapps package from here https://sourceforge.net/settings/mi...20210521/open_gapps-arm-7.1-nano-20210521.zip
Then flash it after flashing the rom files
If you get no IMEI after flashing then go to recovery then restore the EFS Backup
again same issue

There is a problem with the adopted storage on this rom, it doesn't mount the adopted storage properly, in works on ROM, but not in recovery. When ever i boot into recovery, it says

E: Unable to mount decrypted adopted storage

but was working fine on the lineage os rom for this phone, (I formated the sd card as internal when i was on that rom but the sd card was corrupted somehow) please check this, this is very annoying, as i had to install the rom to fix the adopted storage. we all know the storage space of this phone.
Overall, this is a very good and stable ROM

Holy ****! I thought you're Indian, just noticed you're from my city :3
:D
Great.
BTW, I've started downloading Havoc OS Oreo source code. I've never built ROM before, ROM compiling is fairly new to me, can you guide me? Maybe on DM?
Downloading Oreo for this phone is a bad idea. There's no Oreo source tree for this phone. For now, download android-7 trees.
I'm new to ROM Building myself, only done ports & custom recovery before.
Let's talk on DIscord: NullCode#0187

EDIT: NullCode#0187 got disabled. Friend NullCode1337#5386

    Hello Everyone!
This is a ViperOS port from the Galaxy J3 2016 to the Galaxy J2 2016.

    Working:
My day to day usage works flawlessly [so if you find any bugs, please logcat]

Patched Bugs [Because this is a J3 Port]:
    Made it boot
    Power Button
    FM Radio
    Multi User

    Known Bugs:
It tells you that your device is a J3 [because it is a port duh]
Brightness cannot be adjusted [FIX: Here]
Hey Google does not work on PICO Gapps [Use NANO Gapps to fix this issue]

    Download link: MEGA
GAPPS: OpenGAPPS [ARM 7.1 Pico or Nano]
    Patch Link: MEGA

    Installation Instructions:
At first, enable OEM Unlocking and USB Debugging in Developer Options
Flash TWRP from this thread [I recommend v3.1.1-1]
    Reboot Recovery
Make backups please [Don't blame me if you lose anything]
Now, wipe everything [Dalvik Cache; Cache; Data and System]
    Install ViperOS
    Flash GAPPS [Optional]
After flashing, remove the battery and REBOOT TO RECOVERY [important]
    Now flash the Patch
    Finally, Wipe cache/dalvik
    Reboot System

    Very important credits:
Aditya KR [for compiling TWRP 3.1.1-1]
    djeman [Main J3 Developer]
    andii_nr [for compiling ViperOS]
iamsj7 [for updating security patch of ViperOS]
and obviously, me [so don't forget to thank please]

Notes: This ROM has Full OMS Support and Substratum Theme Interfacer Support
It also has full signature spoofing support [so you can also set up microG without patching anything]

    Original Link for J3 ROM:

    Thank for the port Nullcode🙏
stable rom and it's working good
Brightness cannot be adjusted & there is no volte option please fix these also

I am so sorry I forgot to tell people
To fix brightness, you need to go to Settings: Display: Brightness and turn off Auto Brightness
    That will fix the problem

If that doesn't fix the problem, Download and set up Platform Tools from Google, connect your phone and type this command:
adb shell settings put system screen_brightness_mode 0

Also about VOLTE, it cannot be implemented in custom ROMs
Only stock ROM has that feature

can you pls port android 8 to j2xlte (j210f) every rom is just 7.1.2 nougat
