TL;DR: can I port the original Samsung dialer (with call recording) to a custom ROM?
Long version: Ok so... I'm completely depressed because I've been trying to upgrade my now well overused S9 for a while, but I just CANNOT find a good replacement which has all my requirements and works properly in Canada. After trying out a few phones (and returning them all) I went back to my S9. But... I want to go the ROM route since the stock one is arguably dated. However, I have the dialer with call recording enable and I'd like to keep it on say, LineageOS. Reason being it can record calls while on Wifi Calling, which I am regularly, as opposed to other call recorders.
So... any advice for me? I'm spending too much time on this...
