Different look & feel, different camera app, Blinkfeed. I used the Sense 5 port for the Evo LTE pretty extensively and liked it quite a bit, including Blinkfeed. I also really like HTC's multitasking interface. That's not to say I don't like TW and its various features, but it's always good to have options :)

My main concern with this is that the HTC camera app was completely designed around a 4 megapixel sensor. I don't know if it can be modded to work with higher resolutions, but then again I'm not a developer.

No, the camera app is just software

It calls on the kernel and libraries to tell it how to interface with hardware, it doesn't actually say "Ok 4 MP camera, start rolling", instead it says "Open camera"

Right. I'm just saying that the option to select higher resolutions has to be added to the app, because the current HTC camera app doesn't include an option to choose your resolution at all. It defaults to 4mp and only gives you the option to crop the image down to a square rather than the full 16:9 image. I recall this being an issue with the Evo LTE port of Sense 5.

I loved sense 5 when I had the One. But I got one of the One's that had terrible build quality. So had to give up to gain a lot by getting the s4. Will try this I'm sure. Sense 5 is really clean and smooth.

Any chance of being able to upgrade the prl/profile with this app?

Oh yeah. ..I did prefer the multitasking in Sense. It was more webOS-style.
The multitasking UI in Sense was totally revamped between Sense 4 & 5. I hated how it was set up in 4/4+ because it only showed 3 apps at a time and took forever to load (I think that's the WebOs-style version you're referring to :))

In Sense 5, the multitasking UI shows 9 apps at once on the same screen. It's really fast and a huge improvement over 4/4+. Really looking for forward to trying this rom out!

Oh...whoops :-/ I really loved the WebOS UI and multitasking. Maybe I'll like Sense 5 multitasking as well. How do you get rid of apps you no longer want?

I prefer Sense over AOSP, period. :D

Every version of Sense prior to 4 was basically an abortion. 4 was okay, 4+ was a little better but still bloated and laggy. Sense 5 is a drastic improvement, to the point where I would consider it to be a legitimate AOSP contender. The idea of running Sense 5 on a 5-inch 1080p amoled screen gets me all excited.

I agree, Sense 5 is a lot cleaner than all the other Sense versions

Hey guys, I never had anything HTC so I was wondering what the benefits of HTC sense are. Like what does i have that TouchWiz doesn't. Also does this rom include the smart features such as smart stay and smart swipe etc.

1) Read the last page of this thread.
2) Those are Touchwiz features, so no.
