There's no note edge functions since this a s6 edge port. However IMO looks better than the stock note edge, meaning stock note edge's black bar always stays on the edge side. Just use lmt for the edge functions.

Sorry, I'm a little confused. What do you mean about the black bar always stays on? When using Port, there is no black bar on my Note Edge. as the whole screen is used.

On a stock note edge, you need to swipe the black edge in order to get whatever short cuts you've set. Yes, you'll lose note edge's edge functions with this rom.

Oh. Ok. That's as I thought. Am trying to figure out how to make the stock note edge use edge features without black edge so you can have the full width of screen to use like port. No luck yet....

Yep same here, can't stand the HUGE black bar. And yet there's a LARGER black bar when using other than Sammy's launcher. Have you tried LMT yet, works wonderfully well. Exactly, loving the wider screen comparing to N4. I have both phones, but always ended up using the note edge because of the wider screen.

BTW, @TEKHD mentioned the v7 beta 2 will be out soon. Can't wait what he has up in his sleeves.

You guys mean to tell me this whole time the clock has been the only thing working while screen is off??? LOL, I feel like a fool. Well this is Tek's new rom with this apk I found on the google store. It's nice, too bad it can't do live feeds or notifications....And there is another nice one around that I really like.... it's exactly like the one on Payya's? rom.....but newer version.

I can get most other ROMs to work. But this one, as well as Hyperdrive ROM show BASEBAND: unknown

Try the datfix. There are a few versions of it in the Kyubi thread.
Datfix 1.0 always works for me when I flash roms not meant for my edge 915T

Ya I use the same kernel, but my about always shows baseband: unknown.
If I try to activate data, it says "insert SIM card".
All ROMs work for me, except T Mobile ones. Which extra sucks because this ROM is my favorite. I would definitely be willing to shoot someone some cash if they could port this ROM to the N915W8. That would be just stellar, man.

I have an N915W8.

I was comparing the data fix files with a file comparison program a while ago.... they are basically the same css, build.prop, and i forget what else....except for different device models, country codes, mobile network codes, few tweaks here and there.... I remember seeing the line that could be changed to display something else besides DatFix in the about section of settings. Not sure about about baseband....should check it out.

I'm good whenever I flash any of the note 4 or note edge roms...echoes, hyper, kyubi, myarom, etc...Basically have tried them all thanks to the R23 915F kernel and the datafix. Few like the 915KSL or whatever and the exynos I cant boot...64 bit cpu I guess. Oh but I will say that my issues with a few of the rooms has been over heating, major battery drains, wakelocks!!! Nothing like that when I flash Teks rom. It's like....do I care for an s6 launcher or theme store that much??? LOL....nah...I'll be fine with Tek's great rom and and Nova.

So Teks rom doensn't work even with the 910W8 datfix? If you can boot rom, I would say get a program like beyond compare and compare the folders/files between you current working etc, css files and this 910W8 posted....I'm sure some a few lines are off.
