Portable Wifi Hotspot

When i use portable wifi hotspot option... will i get charge even if i have unlimited data plan... just curious... i came from tmobile... and there was no fees when i use the miui rom on my htc hd2... i want to put this on my captivate and afraid that i might get charge for turning on and using portable hotspot... does anyone know anything about it? Thanks

In my experience, no you would not get charged. I've used a couple of different wifi tethering apps in the past and it worked great! I'm now on Fusion ICS rom and ICS has the option built in to allow tethering. It works great as well. So as long as you're rooted and can install 3rd party apps, which it seems you are, then you should have no problems.
