How is this device powered. If by battery, its really wireless. If it requires AC power, not so much.

powered by battery - they say that it will work up to 5 hours... and up to 25 hours standby

That sounds pretty much useless to me. I'll just use my regular external HDD and save $100+. Then I won't have to worry about charging another device.

I use the same drive, standbypower >25 hours.
I have tested it with continuous streaming and it worked vor 5,5 hours with a full charged battery. My Tablet did have 32% of power left.

With my Samsung S1 200 GByte connected to my Iconia A500, the iconia lasted 3,5 hours playing video.

So I'm very happy with my choice, this is a great solution for me
