how can i go back to stock boot animation of my note 8?
i flash the ironman rom and it has it own boot animation,but its kinda laggy,so i go back to my previous rom s9 plus port by repulsa,but the boot animation is still ironman rom after clean flash,

1.Im loosing root what can i do = Either You Reboot your Phone then disable magisk hide , Or reflash magisk
2.Possible to install Viper ? = Yes , Download the one from Magisk manager then install audio modification . so VIPER - Dolby S9 will work

I don't have this device or rom but was reading and stopped to answer your question.
Normally when flashing a new rom ,you would do a clean install and the boot animation will return to stock.
This is not always so with a dirty flash.

I don't have this device or rom but was reading and stopped to answer your question.
Normally when flashing a new rom ,you would do a clean install and the boot animation will return to stock.
This is not always so with a dirty flash.

you need to reflash bootloader and reflash rom with clean install format your internal storage as well

Im using this ROM for a month now with viper..

Suddenly viper disappeared now..

when I reflash viper through twrp, it shows uninstalling viper (which means viper is already installed but its hidden somewhere- fyi I never hide it.. cant find it in apps settings as well)

I tried reflash again, it installed in twrp, but cant find it again..

Whats happening.. can u guys help me..

Last week amazon prime video app was not playing video, I Renamed the following file
/system/lib/liboemcrypto.so to /liboemcrypto.so.bak
Then prime video issue solved. I this causing issue for viper?

I need help I've installed this rom and been an idiot and installed bootloader and modem, which you said not to do, I know like I said I'm an idiot. I have no service after this, also I haven't been able to downgrade either the bootloader or the modem. Is there any help anybody can give me, as I can't afford another phone and really need to be able to make calls etc...

edit: Samsung Note 8 N950F uk vodafone

edit: in the settings app about this phone it has:

IMEI: unknown

and in Software Information:

Baseband version: unknown

edit: I'm trying what jeff5935 said to do, back on page 181 last post

edit: that hasn't sorted out my issue, I don't know what to do now

From my experience and from many others users facing issues with N8 based ROM, there could be 2 main reasons:
1. Dirty flash or not 100% clean (the best is to wipe dalvik/system/data/cache in twrp before flashing the zip)
2. Modded TW choosen in Addons (Grx TouchWiz)
