Well I have already posted on the "negative stuff" thread and I thought we could use a "positive stuff" thread for some balance.

I just bought a plex pass and opened a movie from my home server. Gorgeous. The screen on this thing is everything they say. TF101 was getting very laggy. I ran a Vellamo benchmark. It is nice to be on the top of the heap! (at least for a few months). This machine should serve me well for awhile.

The screen is definitely beautiful, and the added thickness does not interfere with the usage of the tablet at all. Its really quick, and Tegra 4 is a very nice CPU.

In the office here we use the Transformers for sending out high resolution graphics to each other easily, and for pinch-zoom previewing. I can say the TF701T is leaps ahead of TF700T in that regard! I really enjoy it. And Wi-Fi definitely seems quicker.

Great tablet from ASUS and top of the line Android. Love that I get these for free :)

Speed demon! My wifi speeds doubled. Without that lag the TF700T had, this bad boy is sooooo Buttery smooth! I'm Def a happy camper.

T100

Just an FYI - I know some people would never consider moving into the Microsoft Ecosystem (myself included) but my roommate just got an ASUS T100 and I'm quite envious. If you don't mind loosing a few features or don't want to pay a premium for the TF701 check it out.

The downsides are no GPS (I use my phone for Navigation), No rear facing camera (please slap me if I'm taking photos with a tablet) and the screen is lower resolution and a little on the dim side relative to my TF701.

The build quality is much better than the TF701. it's snappy, and a great value for all you get for the price. (dock + keyboard ~400 USD)

Just thought I'd pass it along.

Good luck with the dock! At the moment, that seems like the only major hiccup with this device.

Yesterday upgraded by OTA to JB 4.3.
After 24 hrs battery usage in standby improved a lot.
Antutu gives a 34109 which is really good, faster even than the Note 3.
All is butter smooth and no lag at all.
When Asus can cure the dock connection problem it is really the best 10" device to buy.

Coming from you Snah001, that is an amazing endorsement! What is your take on 3D gaming? Some folks on here (notably one guy) are making a stink about it...

I have maybe 3 3d games on my tablet because I mainly not use it for gaming but they play smooth without hiccups.
I think the whole fuzz about the 3D game performance is just the stick they want to find to trash the tablet but it isn't really that bad.
As said in another thread all who are nagging are ignoring the major plus points of this tablet and forget that the dock is a major plus point next to the relatively low price.
Build quality issues are, when Asus fix the dock connection problem, non existent.
