Question Possible cause for the delay in the Jan update?

CAn't be since mine's on Wifi most of the time and I have the drain

same as bill . just a thought maybe the cpu's getting stuck at high speed while the phones sleeping . i remember a similar issue years ago , cant remember if it was with a xiaomi or motorola i had

just because you are on wifi doesn't mean the phone isn't also trying to maintain a cell signal unless you've deactivated it.

I'm on WiFi all the time and have no issues. Always 9-11 hours SOT.

Could battery saver Itself be the issue? I received the update and do not have any battery issues or idle drain..

I actually turned 5G off, unless I'm going to be streaming.

I switched to azure kernel, which works on stock, and the battery drain has stopped
And that's without battery saver being on.
with no performance issues or bugs noticed

Biggest setting to turn off is all the adaptive stuff. Connectivity being the worst offender.

Nope. Always the first Monday of the month unless it's a holiday, then usually the following day (or two).

Agree 1000% I'm too much of a control freak to use 'adaptive' anything...lol Esp when it comes to batt related stuff.

I turned off everything "adaptive" a few days ago. Makes no difference in SOT. My last 4 cycles, first 2 have adaptive on, last 2 do not.
