Hey, new member here! First off just wanted to say this forum has been very helpful to me so far!! I recently purchased a samsung fascinate v.11. The phone is great, but I noticed it had very weak signal. Wifi and gps were basically a joke. I have searched around and spoke with verizon with no luck on finding a fix...thats until i started doing my own r&d lol. Anyways I found that by taking the back cover off the phone my signal strength went from -100db to -73. Gps and wifi instantly work flawless, not to mention Im pulling a solid 1.5-2mb on the 3g network. I decided to order a new case, so I purchased one of those oem carbon cases. By leaving the original back cover off and installing the phone in the new hard case I have very little signal loss(about -78-83db). I have tried goin back to the stock back cover and the signal instantly drops. How can this be lol? Am I crazy...whats goin on here? Thanks
