Is there any way to increase the resolution of the hdmi out image in such a way that its showing the native screen resolution.

Let me clarify, currently in hdmi mirror mode, its displaying 540 x 960 upscaled to screen res (1366x768 in the atrix docks' case). Is there any way to get the phone to display a native resolution of 1366x768 so that the image is clearer.

Basically I want the phone to get fooled into thinking it has a 11.6-inch screen with a res of 1366x768 when hdmi is plugged in.
I tried increasing system dpi but that didnt do it.

Please let me know if there's a way to do this.

From what I gather, this falls under the umbrella of not having the drivers. We are pretty much stuck until we get an official ICS OTA... and even then, no guarantees.

The hardware is capable, but the manufacturer isn't helping. >.<
