Possible to Brute Force Signature?

I was just wondering what the chances of using something like this http://www.golubev.com/hashgpu.htm

To brute force the encryption key used to sign the phone are?

Might be silly, might be crazy - I have no idea how to go about that or even how many characters/digits we are talking about. I understand it could be astronomical but is there some way to divvy up the attempts?

I have a Radeon HD 5770 as I'm sure a lot of people have similar or better around here. Here is some more info:

isnt it like 256 bit encryption or something like that?
honestly, i dont know anything, but it seems to me like that just wouldnt work. Itd be sweet if someone could make it work

Even with modern GPU computing, it could take several lifetimes to find the correct key. We'd have to get EXTREMELY lucky.
