possible to retrofit a 3G module?

Hi all,

while investigating how to build a car mount, I've been looking at threads on the net about disassembling the tablet S.

A few of these mention that there is a place to fit a 3G module to the motherboard. Wondering if anyone has tried this? I've seen second-hand modules for sale on ebay, wonder would it require some additional software to run one.

on a side note, i bought this tablet, used, last week. im loving it! its a lovely thing, im most pleased.

You may able to add this via otg but you need a slot for sim card

Im not sure but you might need to flash a 3g-wifi rom as your current firmware is probably wifi only
However im not sure on the kernal side of things if there are any changes needed
