Anyone spotted any 'magsafe' cases - would like to "convert" a Pixel 6 to be able to exploit magsafe conpatible chargers (even at low charge rates)

Wonder why Google didn't follow that idea forward? They had magnetic alignment for wireless charging in Nexus 5/7, then they dropped the magnets in Nexus 6.

OtterBox defender arrived today. I thought it had a screen protector like the Unicorn Beetle, so returning it. The problem with the Unicorn Beetle on my previous phone was that the cover latch broke over time. This happened to other people I know as well. Also, reviews show that there are issues with using the fingerprint reader with the Pixel 6. Too bad, as otherwise I like the case, even though I had to use a Dremel tool to grind off the holster since I keep the phone in my pocket and it added extra bulk.

Debated on a Unicorn Beetle Pro case, had a great experience in the past with one. But wasn't too sure on the screen protector as the past one didn't have that included. Ended up getting the Caseology Parallax. Shows up today. Was half the price. Idk....second guessing now. LOL

Caseology has made my absolute favorite cases for some time now. Just the right amount of protection without being unnecessarily bulky. Good grip, as well as a really nice design. And cheap as chips over here in the UK for some reason. Around £10.

    Thanks for pictures, derausgewanderte

Does the carbon fiber case have a good grip, even with dry hands? Never tried a carbon case. The bare phone slides on almost every surfaces.
very subjective of course. For me the grip is just fine. It's certainly not as good as a Spigen case, but it feels "safe" in my hands with this one. The shell is matte and has a soft touch to it. I think they use PU to infiltrate the carbon fiber fabric so it feels like a matte PC case - is the best way I can describe it.

Looks great which is good because I ordered the same case in dark grey and a second in orange. Should Be delivered soon.
Got the AIORIA cases today. Really like them. Buttons are good, as is the rubber surround and cutouts. My favourite part and why I always go for these type of cases is that it's grippy on fabric such as your jeans or sofa etc.

Excuse the poor lighting I couldn't be bothered getting off the sofa as I've been wallpapering all day 😵

Do you mind posting a pic? I find the stock case a bit slippery as well.
Looking for something thinner as well.

Had to tilt to show the scuffing that it added from the sandpaper (wasn't particularly careful on the back), but that's basically invisible until you intentionally angle it to look for it with the grey case.

I was going to throw the case away if this didn't work, so I didn't mind ruining it to test. You might want to try starting with 1000 or 800 grit first and see if you can get enough from that. I'm probably going to go back over it with some higher grit sandpaper later today.
