Bro i find the SEMC1904.gif file in Windows folder already but i cannot rename
BRO I do it.yes... i understand what you means already wahaha wah... very nice man thanks alot
You can disable animation and sound with HDTweak BUT your phone will not boot faster: the animation will just be replace by a black screenIs it also possible to skip the animation to boot the phone faster?
Great work Myke..so much better than the boring windows job!! Anyway, I have 6.1 and have had some success but had to do it using a registry edit rather than a straight replacement as I found that the windows pic called "welcomehead.192" was write protected and I couldnt find a way arround renaming/moving/deleting it the same also with the sony splash (which I think was called "10v"). So instead I edited the "carrierbitmap" and the MSBitmap" to load your gif. These values were in "registry\HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Splash Screen"if you are on 6.1 please try to search the default animation of xperia...then just use the filename of it into the one that you download here and drop on windows folder
please confirm the filename of the default xperia start-up animation for 6.1 and kindly post here...so that i can add instructions on the first post...try to find the .gif file in your windows folder...
sure...give me the fileshello MykeChester can i ask u for a favour, i have a picture that I wanted to convert into an animated welcome but i cant get it to work just wanted to know if you could add a loading bar to it like the ones in your first post, ive tried it myself but when i add it it just shows a white screen and then goes to the welcomehead, thanx in advance
no problem... anytime you need help, just let me knowthanx Myke its perfect now i can finish my rom![]()
In normal ROMs, these can be changed to use a different animation, with any filename, as long as it's set here. For HTC-Roms, however, only "MSBitmap" is used. The order of appearance is always... instead I edited the "carrierbitmap" and the MSBitmap" to load your gif. These values were in "registry\HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Splash Screen"
