I can't believe the amount of crap you guys keep on your home screens. You know every widget is constantly eating up CPU, reducing battery life by a good amount, right?

Thats don't matter when you have a good phone, with dual core and extended battery..
Widget is so important for me, like weather, gmail, facebook, twitter, g+, is so quick everything...

Thats depends the phone, your lifestyle and if you really needed...

Widgets mean more CPU being eaten up constantly, no matter how your cpu is configured to run (on demend, etc) it will be using more battery. There is no way around this.

But lets not derail. I'm just not a fan of 5 home screens with 10 widgets running. Do you REALLY need to know the temperature and your cnn headlines everytime you turn your phone on? Is it so hard to open a weather app or a rss reader?
