So..
Do a system backup to start, you can restore if something goes wrong...

I try to make a zip that will backup your Huawei launcher and install Idol 3 launcher that i port to P8 Lite.
The zip will change framework-res.apk because it have a ugly wallpaper and it will install Microsoft Outlook ( you can delete it if you want by opening the zip, system, app folder and deleting it there )

Nope....had to rename Huawei launcher apk.bak to apk.

for a real minimal experience I'd recommend installing Omni Rom
theme: N-Theme-Dark CM13
launcher: Nova Launcher Prime (disable dock, make desktop grid 8x7, disable app labels and decrease app icon size)
background: just download the Vaporwave Wallpapers

apps on the homescreen:
Chrome, TurboVPN, Vortex for Twitch, Drive, YouTube, Maps, Play Store, Firefox, Spotify, Keep, MiXplorer, Instagram, Tinder, Reddit, Facebook, Twitter, Clover for 4chan, Inbox, Messenger, AwSms, WhatsApp, Stock dialer
