Salutations XDA,

This is my first thread on XDA. Hopefully this thread offer some useful information, everyone can give & take ideas from it. My goal for this thread is to have a positive, helpful and constructive conversation about ICS Android 4.0.1 CPU performance. Please post the name of the app & kernel you used and screenshots of results. Also your CPU settings ie over clock, liveOC values.

PS. I'm aware that apps like Quadrant standard aren't accurate etc etc in eyes of some XDA members.

I'll go first.

Apps: Quadrant standard & Antutu bench mark.

ROM: aosp v13
Kernel: GLaDOS test ICS
GOV: ondemand
CPU: 1200max 200min
LiveOC: 110
LiveCPU: 1320max 220min

My ns4g has a history with reboots with certain kernels within 0sec - 5 mins of pushing high OC levels. ie 1300mhz +

I notice with glados v2.9 test kernel I locked it in at.. 1400mhz min - 1400mhz Max on performance for quadrant. *** it didn't reboot on me not once to my surprise.

With other kernels (no names) it reboot freeze lock up severely needed pretty much full wipe all.

Each Nexus S was made differently as far as processor is certain. Far what I was told creditable sources. So one may able to do what another can't.

that's very nice. I dont think my nexus s can get that high w/o a ext 4 script.

im pretty sure that the script is in the kernel already. but thats ok, thats not the cheating script. the cheating script has no use but the ext4 script is useful.
