I love that I can open my tablet, take a quick glance and see that there's nothing new, and close it. How long would that take on an iPad?

also, samxp, what launcher is that?
That's either nova or apex I think, I'm using apex with the dock enabled for the nexus 7 style home screen, apex also comes with the stock jellybean nexus 7 and ICS wallpapers. Would screenshot it but I'm on stock unrooted so can't at the moment :(

NOVA Launcher. Love the ability to hide icon labels and set a custom grid. I am using 6 rows and 7 columns. Also buttery smooth animations.

Widgets are as follows:

Top Left - Gmail
Bottom Left - Google Reader
Top Right - HD Widgets
Center - Battery Monitor Widget
Bottom Center - Calendar
Bottom Right - Flipboard

You need to sideload Flipboard, but the apk is readily available.
