Ice Bear wasn't sure where to post this thread. Recommend some good KCAL values for the V20, preferably one with little to no screen retention. Perhaps some might want deep blacks and vivid colors while others might want more natural colors. Edit: It might be a good idea to mention whether one is using a stock ROM or a custom ROM. Ice Bear isn't sure if KCAL values have a different effect on stock ROMS vs custom ROMS. Edit: KCAL profiles have been rearranged in alphabetical order and now fall under 2 categories: User KCAL profiles and Kernel Adiutor Mod KCAL profiles.
Thanks to @SupaKid for posting a link to a similar thread.

Ice Bear went ahead and gathered KCAL values from it. Credits go to the users of said KCAL values.

I used to be on R:245 G:245 B:245 and it worked just fine but since summer came, retention got worse and I had to drop to R:235 G:235 B:235 instead.
If your panel has kind of a blue tint (mine doesn't) you just lowed the Blue value by 10 compared to the others.

The best way to calibrate your KCAL values is to put your phone right next to another phone that is well calibrated (an iPhone for example) and try to match the colors.

Wonderful tip for those trying to calibrate their V20 screen like the iPhone's screen.

I'm experimenting with the below setup in Oreo, thought of sharing for others to try out. This time colour temperature corrected with the use of the adjustable comfort view option.

What I tried doing was to match primary colours with a Samsung J series amoled device with AMOLED Photo profile enabled.

It came out close enough I thought, nowhere perfect. Wish kcal offered individual hue control per color channel.

If you are used to the super blue tint this setting will take some time getting used to. Also note each panel will have some variance in color response as well.

Ps- no screen ? ing

I use maxi65's values as listed in the OP and this thread from a while ago and never had a problem with screen retention on my LS997 ZV7 (old stock-based custom ROM, Android 7.0) and US996 USA (old LineageOS-based custom ROM, Android 7.1). I'm not too picky about colors, so I've never bothered to change the values. The Kernel Adiutor Mod app that I use does have quite a number of preset values that could be interesting (see attached images). Some of them have been mentioned in here and in SupaKid's linked thread. If anyone is interested in seeing the numbers for some or all of the profiles, I'll be happy to post them.

That would be a wonderful idea. Ice Bear could even post the profiles to the OP.

Very well, then. Here they are. Note that the Banged Up profile has a slightly different Minimum RGB Value from the one Steven87 posted. I have also put all of them, including the Stock values, in an attached Excel spreadsheet for side-by-side comparisons.
