Not sure how I feel about the icons on the home screen yet. Might move some of those over to page 2 to reduce the clutter. The biggest change so far has been moving the clock over to the right side of the status bar and adding the date. And also adding the battery bar at the top of the screen. (Thanks to Typhus_ Pixel Mods for these mods)

The wallpaper is just a cardinal I took a picture of in my backyard. (Not with the Pixel camera though)

I'm thinking about switching to Apex or Nova Launcher (don't remember which one I was using on my old phone). Because there doesn't seem to be a way to remove the Google search at the bottom of the Pixel launcher and that bothers me.

Edit: Yep, installed Nova Launcher Prime. I set a gesture so I can swipe up to open the app drawer (I really liked that feature from the Pixel Launcher) and added a Fennec (Firefox) search bar at the top to search DDG instead of Google.

Nothing fancy. Nova Launcher and each icon on the docker has a swipe up gesture to launch another app. Basically there are 10 apps I can launch. Eg swipe up on Play Store to launch settings, swipe up on Firefox to launch Chrome. The home screen should just be for widgets and wallpaper, IMO
