How did you get the task manager to show so many apps at once, by default, mine shows three lines, I have resized it but still only get the three lines.... I use Apex launcher.

Edit: I see your using the default launcher, must be an Apex issue :-(

I see you are using Nova Launcher. Did you do anything special to get the wallpaper to fit the screen correct?

I have downloaded the wallpaper in 1920x1408 resolution but can't get it correct.

What are your Row and Column setting in Nova?

Try Wallpaper Slideshow. That thing works perfect. You download the photo you want from the web then set your picture using Wallpaper slideshow and it sets it perfect on your home screen.

You have to root and make the launcher a system app using titanium back-up for example.

You can still add a widget by long pressing on the homescreen and doing it the ol fashioned way
