A thread to list pros & cons for this phone

I begin:

Pros:
- battery life: not rooted yet (see cons), I've got almost 2 days of "new owner" heavy use. fast charge
- appearance, feel in hand: quite sober, metal frame feels good, not too slippery without a case. Although I think you should put a case since the screen shatters easily from what I've heard.
- performances, bang for the buck: 625 & 4gb of ram quite good, phone doesn't feel sluggish, apps stay in memory. Perfect for me. I don't play performance heavy games. 225€ seems like a fair price for what you get.
- phone doesn't get warm (metal frame phones are often prone to that)

Cons:
- modding: TWO WEEKS BEFORE YOU CAN UNLOCK THE BOOTLOADER: I'm not ****ting you. You get a countdown of TWO WEEKS before you get the unlock link. I wish I knew this before buying. Also (for now): not a very big community on XDA
- signal strength: almost 20% worse than my Moto x 2014. In France.
- headphones jack on top

Neutral: speaker is ok, but placement is bad, finger will often mute the sound almost completely

No it doesn't.

reply from Moto Agents states it has.

and your reply in another thread states
1. No.
2. IMO yes.
3. Superb. No wiggle room anywhere.
4. TBH quite bad at the moment compared to other devices. It seems like progress is being made although very slowly. The stock ROM is decent enough to warrant using it in the meantime though.
5. It's bad. God... So bad.

According to specs,it has 2.5D curved glass, but in reality its hardly curved. Many also complain that the screen is too stretched at the edges giving it a flat look

Nothing to be confused about. Lenovo say it has 2.5d screen. But in reality it is very slightly curved.

But honestly don't let this put you off. By the time you have it in a case you won't see the curves anyway. The screen is very nice. Lovely deep blacks and vibrant colours. I have the brightness low most of the time. Very easy to see outside.

Very happy with this phone. It's an absolute bargain considering the specs.

One thing that confused me about the price is that if you look on eBay they're going for anything from £200 to £300.
Why wouldn't you just go and buy one from Three?! Even with a £10 topup it's loads cheaper than they're going for on eBay!

And if you live elsewhere in Europe you can just buy it on Amazon unlocked for anything ranging from 250€ to 300€.

Worth it in my opinion. It has it's fair share of flaws but most of them can be worked around.

And let's face it: once you actually use it and the pieces fall into place you wouldn't want any other phone anymore.

And thanks to the marvelous battery and quick charging it runs tracks around it's competitors.

Hey are the buttons wobbly and make rattling sound?
Also I hear there is a bend near home button due to which tempered glass can't be applied. Thanks for help:)

Yup,my device has a wobbly power button, but the sound made is just a 'tick',which is normal. I use dt2w,as i never like using buttons.

I don't have a tempered glass protector to test it but others have said so.

As for rattling buttons, they rattle slightly when you hold the phone to your ear and start shaking the phone like a mad man.

I wouldn't worry about it too much though, it's not like you will be spending most of your time doing that.
