Potential root for Amazon variant?

Just read this article this morning. Ran the quadrooter scanner app (available here) and found that my regular Moto g4 is vulnerable to 3 of the 4 exploits. I am not sure about the Amazon variant due to the fact that I don't own it, but I would assume that it would have similar results.

Every device with a Qualcomm processor is vulnerable, about 900 million devices is what I've seen. Supposedly Qualcomm is working on it but there's no fix yet.

3 of the 4 vulnerabilities have been fixed in the July security patch. The 4th will be fixed in September's patch.

Nothing for the G4 yet, though.
