Pouch for the Desire HD

Oh ok nice, I havent got a case yet..or the phone so maybe ill order that instead of the otterbox commuter

I have the official pouch as well but don't use it because the phone has to be naked to fit into it. I prefer to use a case to protect the phone when in use, therefore it doesn't fit into the pouch any more. I have a simple soft plactic case and will buy an Otterbox one, either the Commuter series or the Defender series. I'm waiting for the Defender series to be out to compare and make my choice.

I'm waiting on the PDair vertical pouch for my Desire HD. I'm currently using my old HD2 horizontal pouch in the mean time. Think the PDair one is due out Christmas Day!

It should fit the Desire HD.

i've been looking for the nexus one like pouch for the DHD and this is the closest i've found really. It's a shame HTC hasnt made one for us.

But the one i linked is dirt cheap so i'll give it a try and report back here if anyone is interested.

believe it or not but i haven't received it yet. It was meant to come a few weeks ago but apparently it's been lost in the mail. I've been in contact with the seller and he sent me another one. Could still be a few more weeks until i receive it :/

Nice choice! The quality is real good, just that it is a little bit tight when inserting the DHD for the first few times, then the leather will be "accustomed" to the bigger size and becomes easier to take out.

Has anyone been able to get a PDair vertical type pouch with the belt clip in the UK? Mobilefun usually have it, but the one on their website is the pouch without the loop which I ordered off Ebay thinking it was the right one

Hey guys finally got my pouch which i ordered about 2 months ago!

When i first saw the pouch i though "wow its sooo small". But actually phone fits very nicely inside. I love the material used as well. Its really smooth to the touch, and i think it will protect the phone fairly well. Some pics below, sorry for rubbish quality. As you can see, there's about 2mm on the top where the phone is unprotected. That's only on the front side, the back is fully protected. The one side of the pouch is shorter than the other. But i actually like it because it makes it easier to pull out.

I know this is an old thread but hey ... I 'm still rocking my DHD :good:.

Dear Chaps,

I bought the original PO S550 from ebay and it also stated that it is for the Desire HD. When I opened it up and tried to put my DHD in it, I think I almost broke my DHD because I had to push to hard to put it in.
I was already getting mad at the ebay seller because he was selling a badly advertised item that did not fit.

But I still wanted to go on trying and what I did is fiddle with the case for 15min to make the leather nice and soft on the sides. Because it's brand new the leather is still very stiff and it needs to be made soft. Just pushing, squeezing and pressing the case for like 15 minutes made my DHD fit in a lot better. And every day it is starting to fit even better in it.


So to sum it up.

-I received the case, my DHD did not fit at all (the sim cover even got stuck in the case when taking the phone out).
-After making the case soft by squeezing it a lot on the sides the DHD fitted in it but not yet perfectly, I still had to push hard.
-now after 3 days of using the case, it fits my DHD like a tailor made suit!

I 've been using these for 3 years now (ordered a new one after renovating the house :silly and it 's true that it 's a hard fit in the beginning. After a couple of days though it 's no longer an issue. The problem with these pouches is that after a couple of weeks the DHD drops out when you flip the pouch upside down. Not a big issue but for this reason I 'm looking for something else now.

How does the DHD fit in this pouch? Tight/loose and does it also loosen up after a while? Also wondering if the DHD sticks out at the top or if it 's completely covered by this pouch?

I 'm thinking about getting something like this to make sure the DHD stays in place. Anyone has a pouch like this and willing to post pics/details?
