Is there any apk or widget that will allow you to turn the Power Off without using the Power Off/On switch on my Sensation? Checked all my resources and could not find one. I do have a widget to turn screen off and lock. Thanks!

Thanks for your reply. However, why did you have to be so opinionated? Your comment was not appreciated. FYI-You need to be Rooted to use this apk.

I check all my resources. That includes Play Store, many other sites that offer cracked sw, etc. Most of the apks require rooting. I have been on this forum since 2006 so I fully understand 'SEARCH.' I tried Quick Boot and most of the others. Example:
Quick Boot (Reboot) - Reboot your phone quickly. Boot into Recovery and Bootloader with one tap. ** Root access to your phone is required to use this application. If you are not aware whether or not your phone has root access, you probably don't have root access. ** Quickly and easily reboot your device, power off
Thanks anyway. Apparently no one knows of an apk that will do this without being rooted.

Thing is, until that post, we didnt know you werent rooted because you didnt tell us. Had you told us then the answer would have been "no" because accessing the power off/reboot via an app requires root access as you found out.

Yeah, sorry man, I assumed you were rooted. Otherwise would not have recommended quick boot.

Sorry I didn't mention that I was not rooted. Did that on my old phones (MDA, Wing, Omina I900, iPhone (JB), and HTC HD2. But left this one stock. To me it was not worth the effort. Thanks to all who tried to help!
