You can also use the stryofoam-ish inserts inside the box to hold the Nook upright in landscape... So really the box actually has three surprisingly sturdy stands that come with it. Pretty neat, i think.

LOL Awesome. Just did the mod in the video. May do the landscape mod too. I can't believe I didn't notice that....

EDIT: Oh and I vote for a sticky. This is just too good to not make known for the newbs to see when they first join up.

It's one of those plate stands. You can find them at Walmart's craft section or Joanne's or Michael's :)
I was pretty sure it was.... I go one that has a ledge instead of the two hook thingies. Doesn't protrude over the screen and holds it well.

Too Funny! just figured this out today...came back to college yesterday so Nook box is at home :( will have to wait to do this..fingers crossed nobody at home tossed it in the trash.

Couldn't find a case at WalMart, Staples or OfficeMax to save my life today, but did pick up a plate holder per the idea above. Everyone has iPad cases of course.
I use clear plate/ picture holder with a white "u" support arm (3" sized one). I picked it up at Jo Ann's, had them use their 40% off coupon and got it for right around $2.00.

Picked up some locktite at Target for $.99 and took and old plastic drink stirrer and cut off two 1/4" chunks that I glued to the front.

I have the Best Buy $50 Easel case the was free and also come with a $25 text message promotion Gift Card. Was necessary to stop text promotion right after refund to prevent charges to cell phone.

I use the glued plastic chunks to make everything sit even.

You just move the white "u" up and down to determine the angle. It is pretty stiff so it easily stays at that position.
