Powering on problem

I upgraded from cm7 nightly to 7.2 RC. The phone started up fine and works great, but if I turn it off it will keep flashing an empty battery and the busy booting circle. I can get it to power on if I plug power to it and then the battery icon shows it charging. I have reflashed, redownloaded, and rewiped several times. I flashed this on another Captivate with 0 problems. I am stuck and no ideas.

Check your USB port. remove the battery, dip a toothbrush in alcohol, then clean the fuxor out of it. once it dries (DRIES), put the battery back in and turn it on. You probly have some contact going on.
