What's the best way to backup my current phone files and settings as complete as possible. As close to a full backup image as possible? And then restore after root? Is LG Bridge very thorough ?

To flash any TOT file in your phone or fix "invalid tot" message in Lgup, just download a hex editor, open the tot and search for the phone model of the tot then change it with your phone model(be careful of don't add any character, just replace ), save it and that's all. Lgup will let you to flash it.

I'm in h960 v10c firmware with the tot of AT&T model and works flawlessly. I already flash the tot from h961n but I loose 4g. The h960a tot format my storage to 32gb. So the AT&T tot is the most useful. Be careful to not flash a 64gb tot in your 32gb model or you will brick your device.

No, I tried but didn't work, softbrick :/ and updating with lgup erase the root.

Hey guys, can anyone make a guide post or a video on instructions on how to root your LG variant? I am looking for the H960 model but I want it to be helpful and easy to find for anyone new to this.

Two more questions, is the LG V10 rooted with bootloader unlocked or not? If not, will it be possible seeing this breakthrough for LG V10 root?

I only use gravitybox for the battery bar and I use it so I can put a image background for quick pull down notification background. Then I used xqs to put a custom image on background, just looks better to me. And when I show off my device it amazes people. There like how can I do that or I gotta have a phone like that. Somebody on here some were said that they was using wanna kit, I tried it and it didn't work at all..

Ya the header bar thanks try bhoot it's on Google play get rid of that nasty bright red verizon billboard when you fire up you v10 it let you swap it out with some crazy stuff.
