Okay, so I recently got a used tmobile g1 and am looking to use it with T-mobile's Prepaid $15/month unlimited txting plan. However after a master reboot I am stuck at the "Touch the Android" area because I can't connect to tmobile's data for logging in to google, and there is no turn wifi on option at this area. There are a few easy workarounds, but the one I am trying and the only one that works for me that I feel comfortable doing is this one

However after I got down to rc29, I got stuck with adb. I have no clue how to install the drivers and win 7 never asks me to install drivers, so I feel lost and stuck here. If someone could give me step by step instructions to installing adb on a phone that can't do anything I would really appreciate it as I can't find any working guides anywhere.

EDIT: I figured it out, though the guides were still fairly unclear.
