Works as advertised on Xperia 5 mk1

Follow instructions and the app works on the xperia 5 too. Only thing is u cant change lenses or the white balance.

I've managed to tweak and port the Xperia 1 ii Pro Cam over to Xperia 1. App launches, works fine unless you change lenses (only primary works), go to white balance and, click the shutter

Sharing the apk with you guys. Let me know if any of you can make it usable.

SELF TWEAK GUIDE

Here's the guide:

1) download the original apk - https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/sony-m...-apk-download/

2) download APK Editor - https://betadown.com/android/app-editor-pro/

3) run APK Editor and open original apk and select 'Common edit'

4) change version code to 2236423 and change version number to 1.1.1.A.0.7

5) save and install newly created apk (open apk from a different file manager)

And it should work

I hope someone tweaks more and make it work as it should.

Can someone repost the apk? It seems they are both dead. So, will it work on Xperia 5 MKI?

no way in hell...Sony sucks more and more on update's and never a public change log of it
they need over 6 weeks already just for an securaty update

At least I'm sure we'll get an update of the standard camera app with android 11. Sony usually updates the cam app at new versions of android.

i'm not sure we getting A 11 after all that desateres switch to A 10 at all the Sony devise's

I tried this indications but I can not install the app on my xperia 5 mark i with Android 11...Is there an update about this post? Is someone working on a porting?

You can go to settings > Apps > Camera and in upper corner right you'll see three dots, you press it and uninstall updates.

You can install it but it's unusable you cant take photos , you can only see the ui and play with settings.
