I was at CES this week and talked with a rep from Pro-Clip. The Nexus S car holders should arrive January 16th. No word on pricing yet.

I'm sure it will be... I already ordered and have been running the fascinate model (because I can't live without my slingbox while driving) and although just a tad tight everything is accessible, charging plug & headphones.

I think they're all built the same aren't they... with the bottom portion open

jacksonj51: I'm actually talking about the active holder. It looks like your photo is showing the passive holder.

With the USB/charging port so close to the headphones socket, the design of the base of the clip is critical (http://www.samsungnexuss.com/wp-content/gallery/official/big3.jpg). Unless there is a special effort made to leave the headphones socket accessible, I fear it will be covered.

Purchased at Proclipusa. By far the best car phone holders around... I've tried alot. These fit perfect and the website gives the option to select the make and model of both your car and your phone.

I got the holder for the Fascinate because I didn't have the patience to wait for the official Nexus S holder.... it fits a tad too snug, I'd wait for their release of their nexus S holder as its supposed to be released in the next week or two

Looks really cheap compared to the Pro-clip mount I bought for my G1.

Yes, the dock is made by the same company as the ProClip: Brodit.

Brodit is the maker of the product, its the same as proclip....

Yes the fascinate holder as I said earlier is a tad too snug, I'd get the official Nexus S holder and there is no way you'll be able to use any type of skin for these because they fit absolutely perfect with no room to sprare.

Sure, there it is, but Brodit doesn't let you purchase products from them directly. And when I select "USA" as my country, it tells me the reseller is proclipusa.com, which doesn't carry item #512227 - the holder for the NS. Grrr.

I emailed ProClipUSA asking when they were releasing the holder for the Nexus S:

Thank you for your interest in our ProClip Holders. We do anticipate making one, however due to the large number of new products we are developing, we cannot give a specific date as to when this will be available. You will be notified by e-mail as soon as the Holder has been received at our warehouse and is ready for online ordering.

Doesn't appear to be out yet. At least I can't find it on their site...

It seems to be listed as available at Holders and Mounts in the UK...
