Is there a new kernel for ICS? I have installed lupus now , is the best there is for ICS? ThANk ...
I've searched before posting but i can't find any answer to my question: many users (included me) are reporting that predictive text/autocorrect on hardware keybord doesn't work on some ROMs. Is there a fix to that? I've seen that it works flawlessly on i.e. Superleggera and Ultimate HD, but I'm wondering: what did developers do to get it to work? If I want to use a ROM that has not that "feature" at the first boot, can I restore it in a second time? As usual, sorry for my english
hardware keyboard works well with old official xperia keyboard that it works only on stock Rom ics or bg (like superleggera, ultimate or gin2jellybean).I've searched before posting but i can't find any answer to my question: many users (included me) are reporting that predictive text/autocorrect on hardware keybord doesn't work on some ROMs. Is there a fix to that? Anyone knows which rom is best amongst others in view of Wifi, HDMI and/or FM working. I cannot connect to internet via wifi in JB and KK roms.
ROMs tried,
CM11(KK)
Unofficial Carbon Rom(KK)
VanirAOSP(KK)
Ultra Slim CM10 (JB)
LegacyXperia (JB)
SuperJellyBean(JB), etc.
Do you have installed kernel with correct wifi modules? For example I use SuperJellyBean with SuperFusion kernel and wifi works very well.

Currently using a KK Rom and the keyboard works the way it should...you just have to choose the keyboard layout that you want from the rom setting .
Stock Kernel with CWM and root - based on 4.0.2.A.0.62 firmware(Stock ICS)
Link died, but i really need it. Can someone reupload this?
guys im gonna give up my Pro as i dont like it anymore
I hate sony's interface and no ROMS are my taste
Im going for the Ace 2 it looks better
GB = Higly Stable but not good looking. No Lag even on HD Games.
ICS = Good Looking but Laggy and less RAM available (Cant play HD games without lag ) and
JB = Nice look and animation. As like ics, it consumes more RAM and is slow and laggy when apps are not in memory. Even JB doesnt support all the features....
JB 4.2 = Out of scope, eventhough we get it, we will have Lag and Bugs for SURE.
When ICS was released by SONY, I found no difference with Sony ICS and GB exect some Lag. As you all know, Most of them have reverted back to GB.
Our New rom should have below features for Sure:
1. Performance (Fast and Stable)
2. Great Looks
3. Best Music Experience (with Walkman & Music FX)
4. Best Movie/Video Experience (Bravia Enginee)
5. Should Play HD Games with Lag free
What happened to this initiative? Just as you, I have tested way too many ROMs and I completely agree that my PRO likes GB roms better than any other, even though I could achieve good multitasking on a couple of ICS ROMs, they lag when running games and certain apps...
I could say right now that I have found the one GB ROM to rule them all ... we could probably request the developer to help him get better looks or take his ROM as a base...
I am no dev, but I am curious enough to tinker certain files and configs and attempt to look for solutions for certain issues... count me in
Since your Ultima ROM is already included in the list and kernel mentioned on the ROM page, I did not add. Basically, the kernel section has only kernels which are not associated with a specific ROM. This is to avoid cluttering. Hope this is acceptable!Nice thread! By the way if you like you could include my kernel on the list. It's useable even on stock firmware.
