I do not know how to add sound control right now because our sound implementation is a little bit bizarre.

I tried it with aex pie, but wlan does not work (it lists the networks, but when I try to connect it says deactivated below the network and does not connect). Do I have to do anything else except flash it?

Im using the same rom with this kernel and I dont have this issue.

It's doing it to me too, and from a clean flash of AEX 6.1 (20181220 build); I spent all afternoon backing up my wife's phone then doing a full (like, QFIL ZUI 1.9, OTA updates to 4.0.247, unlock bootloader, official TWRP 3.2.3, factory2vendor, etc.) wipe & reload.
I'd really like to use your kernel since, y'know, being able to actually charge the phone and not have it drop by 10% battery in 15 minutes of use is kind of important.
Here's a log of having started up with wifi turned off, then turning it on and having it try & fail to connect to my in-house wifi (House.of.Insanity & House.of.Insanity5). When I first get to Settings > Network yadda yadda, they show "Disabled", and when I tap on either of them it flashes for a moment then the status changes to "Saved".

Any ideas?

Update: flashed 1.0.6 on top & now wifi's working again. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
