Yes, I can confirm ADB shell does not work with tablet in Recovery Mode after update to Android 4.0.3r5. I notice that when tablet is in Normal Mode, ADB correctly returns the tablet's serial number, but when tablet is in Recovery Mode, ADB incorrectly returns the tablet's serial number as 0123456789ABCDEF. Did ADB always do this or is this something new?
I also noted this, posted in Dev under AIO thread. It is NEW. Really weird tho......
So it has been blocked.....
Can we change this or are we screwed??

Is it really that bad?..sorry..noob here. Will any future official update by Sony be able to change it (assuming that they want to)?
Fat chance, you seen what Sony did, they attempted to block root exploits with kernel 10, they will not help unlock the bootloader with any tool and now the ADB Shell is rejecting in recovery mode, of course its bad :(

With the ADB Shell blocked, you cannot flash encrypted zip's with the AIO Tool (Sign check enabled permanently unless the tool manages to find an other way in (Security hole))
