You're misinformed. 3G is in fact H and H+. E is however 2G.

Well yes, my statement is correct. If you get H you get 3G (just a faster version than if it would say 3G). So you should be pleased. If you get H+ it's even better/faster!

I would suggest to 'enisay' to CHECK that the APN details are correct, you can get these from your operator. Once you have entered them, make sure you click 'MENU' and then 'SAVE', then the stupid bit that isn't obvious is you need to click the RADIO BUTTON to the right of the profile you have just created to activate it. Once that is done, wait 30 seconds and hopefully your internet should connect. Of course, you have said you can get EDGE but if the internet wasn't working at all even on EDGE, this would be the first thing to try... Good Luck!
