Problem with lumia 800 ,, HELP pls !!

Hello i have a lumia 800 , i try to update to wp 7.8 , the care suite ask me if i wanna format hdd and i press ok and now my phone dossent open dossent do nothing is completly dead , can i do something to start again whit old 7.5 ? !!!

Your phone is dead now

You should have read all the threads that say DO NOT FORMAT

so thats it is god to go on trash ??

there is nothing i cand do , a software issue is broke the hardware of the phone /???

You can send it to Nokia for repair

And no, a software issue did not break the phones hardware, software wiped the phone clean (Like formatting the HDD and BIOS on a PC)

Hardware is not broken, you have formatted the OS and everything else so there is nothing for the phone to load anymore

It needs re-programming

You might be able to fix it with some soldering and a PC

bring it to a shop in your city, which has atf box.
it can be repaired using testpoint soldering solution.

will be cheaper than sending it to nokia

Yeah the problem was i deleted the os and the phone dosent start because is nothing to load , the guy from the service open the phone conect some wirers on it and instal the software again ( u cant do this without a special crazy box ) ) , now the phone is good as new and has 7.8 on it , the price was verry cheap 25 eeuros , on nokia service is about 100 euros , so shame on you nokia for that .

Yep, thats the problem with the unlocked bootloader, you can wipe the phone 100%

I think thats why they released the locked bootloader to stop it happening

Nokia Care Points do it usually for free. Also the ATF-Box approach voids your warranty and you risk serious damage to your phone.
