I've bought an OTG USB key and a adapter cable for my Mi 4c but I'm facing some problems with it. Here are their references : Kingston Technology DataTraveler Micro Duo 32Go and Inateck adapter Type C male to Type A female.
The USB key is recognized by the smartphone as I can mount and unmount it in the settings or in the notifications panel without any problem. I can access it with the default explorer on MIUI ROM too.
The problem occurs when I'm trying to access it with any other application downloaded from the store (Manga Rock or Unclouded are examples). I've tried many things to understand where the problem can come from, and I think this problem is related with permissions set on the /storage/usbotg folder. It seems that is the folder where the USB key is mount. Here are my tests :
btw, root browser is unable to change permissions.
I've tried with an LG G pad 8.3 and a N5 without facing any problem, but without any cable.
Do you have any idea to solve this problem ?

- Install root browser
- check access without root permission : read ok, write ko
- check access with root permission : read ok, write ok
- check rights in root browser: rwxrwx--x
- check ownership setting : user root, group root
- check properties on root browser : user root, group sdcard_r
