Problem with root in xolo q1010i KitKat

I have flashed the stock jb ROM on my q1010i, and done a KitKat system update. But when i rooted my device i have got a problem, when i checked the root explorer on my file browser, i wasn't able to view the content of my memory card. But when i uncheck the root explorer on my file browser all my memory card content is back.
I have tried numerous other browsers but all got the same problem.
I have tried flashing the device with pre-rooted KitKat ROM and also with stock KitKat ROM but all in vain.
I have tried all this with carliv's recovery and other recoveries but nothing changed.

Help please.

Use kingroot.

If u have installed pre SU'ed. ROM, you will be getting the same error.. The only solution is to use kinguser.. Download kingroot and tap on the gree circle( do it if ur phone is already rooted). Then click on the blue circle which will install kinguser app... Now you are properly rooted... Now try installing viper4android..
