Hi guys.

Did anyone meet this problem with onscreen barcodes? I'm using Google pay to store discount cards, and on Note 4 barcodes worked perfectly. Right now - like only 20% of scanners can recognize them from the screen. Resolution is set to 2220x1080. Anyone meet the same problem?

I have used Samsung pay and haven't had issues. Just to make sure what you are saying, that after the reward card barcode is saved, you then use the phone screen to display it to a scanner and that scanner can't read it?

Exactly. It readable like 1 time of 10. Lot's of POS machines in the malls can't read it. Maybe it's resoution? Are you using the full resolution on your screen?

2960x1440 and I have brightness set to auto. I also get coupons in the email with barcodes and those seem to work well also. Do the barcodes look right on your phone? Maybe something is stretching or distorting the image. Also I use a film type screen protector that is kinda matte and not glossy, I wonder if that has had an effect.

Aha, mine was set by default - 2220x1080! Maybe this is a problem. Distortion or something. I will try to switch resolution and scan again.

Also, Samsung pay displays the barcode across the top portion of the screen , and it seems close to the original barcode in size. Even if I turn phone to landscape, it still stays the same.

Nope. Didn't helped.
Tesco machines completely ignoring my phone. No reaktion in any mode. Weird, with Note 4 everything was ok. What it can be? Brightness?
