Problems with GMail Notifications Since July Security Update?

Just checking to see if anybody else has had issues with getting notifications on their GMail since the July security update was released a few days ago? I have a Samsung Gear Fit 2 that I have synced with my phone and I noticed today that I had two days worth of GMail that I hadn't been notified had arrived! (I installed the July security update Thursday morning....two days ago.) It doesn't seem to have affected my regular e-mail, my home e-mail, my text messages or app notifications.....just GMail. Any ideas of how to fix this? Anybody else having the same issue?

Temporary Fix

I uninstalled the GMail accounts, then re-installed it and that fixed the problem. Not sure what happened, but all is well now.
