Problems with XT1058 LP Update

Thanks for the link, that cleared out some things for me, but I've noticed that app looses it's settings after the reboot, is there a way to fix my option (Default is LTE/GSM, but i want it to be GSM - Auto), theres a lot of other buttons that i hardly understand what do they do

I think that be a root issue, but I'm honestly not sure.

zero problems so far. Cel standby does show up as high battery use, but I'm getting about the same battery life and similar stats in better battery stats as i did on KitKat. I make it through a day easy with 2 to 2.5 hours screen time.
The whole phone seems more stable and runs smoother. Definitely the opposite of what I've experienced with my Nexus 7 with OS updates.

I'm having the opposite thing happen to me. I upgraded from stock 4.4.4 to 5.1 and now I get super terrible battery life, the phone is downright unresponsive for most apps, and my phone is extremely hot to the touch. It also takes forever to charge now. I factory reset and cleared cache but nothing works. Should've stayed on 4.4.4

Did you update via ota or some other method. try doing a data reset and updating again

I found out why it was being so horrible. It turns out the newest version of snapchat sucks really bad and as soon as I downgraded to an earlier version, all was fixed. As for the battery life, turning off WiFi made cell standby go away and increases the battery life by alot.
