process *backup* android system keeping phone awake, what is it?

When using betterbatterystats its showing *backup* android system under wakelocks keeping the phone awake for 1h20m after 11h since unplugged.

What is it and how can I fix it?

i would like to know this too, Ive noticed it since yesterday. My battery was perfectly fine before but yesterday i installed go launcher ex with a theme and ive noticed this *backup* is eating my battery now.

Anyone know what it is and how to stop it? Im assuming its something to do with go launcher as it was never there when i used launcherpro

I've been using launcher pro throughout so I don't think its launcher related. Is it to do with my apps and settings being backed up to the google cloud?

2 seconds with three days usage on mine .
Try turning sync off then on and set apps one at as time to no backup is what i would do .

Right I've unticked "back up my data" under privacy and the backup process has droped off my batterystats..

The next biggest entry is GTALK_ASYNC_CONN at 1m28s after 3h5m since unplugged. I dont use GTALK so how can I disable it?
